Missing Vermont college student Lia Smith, 21, has been confirmed dead. A body was found near the Middlebury College campus on Thursday, Oct. 23, and an autopsy has since revealed it was that of Smith. The Vermont Medical Examiner's Office additionally confirmed that she died by suicide.
