Aaron Phypers tells PEOPLE that Denise Richards was allegedly not involved in their animals' lives after police responded to his home when Richards showed up attempting to pick up one of their dogs. She also alleged that he put one of their dogs down without telling her, but a source claims it was because the dog had cancer.
