Two men, Dashawn Austin and Akeem Artis, were sentenced in connection with the shooting of 22-month-old Davell Gardner Jr., the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office said. Gardner was fatally shot on July 12, 2020, while sitting in a stroller at a cookout at a park in Brooklyn, New York.
