Michael Bosworth, Jr., 18, was allegedly shot and killed hours before his school prom by a homeowner in what police initially reported was a potential “residential burglary” in Spotsylvania County on Saturday, May 3, the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office stated in a news release. The alleged shooter has since been arrested and charged.
