Composer Lalo Schifrin, who most notably wrote the 'Mission: Impossible' theme, died at 93 on Thursday, June 26, his son William Schifrin confirmed to NPR. Throughout his career in Hollywood, the composer was nominated for six Academy Awards and scored over 100 films.
