A Southwest Airlines flight resorted to a sudden drop to avoid a mid-air traffic collision while departing from Burbank, Calif. The plane abruptly descended 475 feet to avoid colliding with a Hawker Hunter aircraft. It abruptly descended from 14,100 feet to 13,625 feet.
